Writing Every Which Way

Novels, poems, and writing tips

Who melted all the snow?

It’s a lie to say I don’t care

That the ground is bare.

Where is the snow on the Earth?

Why am I not drawn, freezing, to the hearth?

I want hot chocolate

And snow on my car making me late.

I want blankets and cuddling

To make my mother start wondering.

Where is the Christmas spirit

I can’t hear it.

I'm just another young writer hoping to get noticed in the world of publication. The majority of my time is put into writing novels, but I'm no stranger to journalism, playwriting, and critical essay's, too. I'm also the author of "The Little Paragons" which can be found on Amazon.com.

  1. Makes me sad with the lines, “Where is the Christmas spirit, I can’t hear it.” but I enjoy the descriptive snowy images. The ending leaves me curious why the writing feels the spirit of Christmas is gone. So I like that. πŸ™‚
